Focused on visualizing rolling my step through my big toe for every left foot step and it seemed to help quite a bit.
Discomfort level... felt like having a knot in my calf the whole time. Occasionally it would spike to be more painful but only if I mis-estimated some uneven ground or a bit of an incline. In general it felt OK. Seemed to loosen up quite a bit after ~7km.
Will play it by ear but will probably shoot for 8km tomorrow and some where in the low-mid 20's on Saturday.
