Notes
Uggggh! Water was cold; about 65 degrees. I had a wetsuit on and a neoprene cap (a very good purchase). Next time I may have booties. My poor toes went numb. Plunging into the mud was really, really disconcerting. Visibility was zero underwater. I had trouble nailing my stroke. Then I couldn't swim straight. I ended up just taking a lot of dogpaddle breaks so I could at least head in the right direction.
I beat 9 people in the swim, out of about 120. Bleah! The run up to T1 hurt, due to the numb feet.
