Notes

My hamstring is all taped. I have been so paranoid about it. No pain today. Tested with 4 mile warm-up on the path, v easy, HR 155. 8:36 pace, 160 elevation, last mile mostly.

Then immediately on the TM.

3x(800m @ 8 3% incline onto 800 @ 7.7 -3% decline), with a quick stop after every mile.

4x (400m @ 8.1 into 8.2 3% incline onto 800 @ 7.5-7.6 -3% decline) with a quick stop after each mile.

These felt much better compared to last time I did hill repeats. I feel stronger.

Now to keep the body uninjured.

I'm glad you felt good today! I have a chronic left hamstring that especially gave me grief last year and totally know that scary feeling about whether or not you've pushed it over the edge! All the body aches and pains start to come out now in a homestretch! You'll make it and you won't lose anything if you have to forego a workout here and there!!! Nice job!!
