Hello again.
I would like to share with you one of my favorite Theodore Roosevelt quotes:
"Keep your eyes on the stars, and your feet on the ground."
Take what you want from this. I like this quote because it reminds me that I can dream all I want about going to nationals or even being an All-American. But if I don't keep myself grounded and focused on my dreams, then I won't get what I desire. I'll end up facing a harsh reality and some sort of "come-to-Jesus" moment where I can't figure out where I went wrong but it's so obvious.
I'm tired.
I'm kinda sad.
(Don't worry, it's just because it's cold).
