that's the time they said as I crossed the line and close to what i had on my watch. so its probably the official time. i'll try to get some placement stats later when results go up online.
After the Leaves have Fallen 20k @ Minnewaska State Park. It was awesome. A little cool--I wore my underarmour and gloves (seemed like the right combo). started slow then just moved up 1 person at a time. passed approx 25 people. only one guy came back to catch. about the 8 mile mark one guy did challenge me and I just turned it on, was a little unsure i could hold it for 4.4 more miles, but I did for the most part (it was all downhill at end, wish i could recall my split at the 8 mile mark/race high point, i bet it was low 7's though) Great race though. Very scenic. Very chill. Also helped that I ran well and destroyed the old guy that had beaten my at the General Montgomery Day 8k over the summer.
