Definitely one of the hardest runs I've ever done due to the change of pace off and on the whole tempo mixed with very sloppy and slower conditions. Really loved the warmer weather but had to deal with excessive flooding all over the roads and sidewalks which definitely slowed down the run or at least made it extremely hard to attempt to hit my 5 flats. Was supposed to hit 5:40,5:00,5:40,5:00,5:40,5:00,5:40.5:00 and actually went 5:40,5:18,5:38,5:03,5:36,5:13,5:39,4:59 and closed the last .4 in 1:54 which is 4:45 pace. Mile 2 was definitely the sloppiest and hardest to run with water up past my ankles over half the of mile. Mile 6 had no excuse except fatigue for the slower time. Not quite what I had in mind yet again, but a strong tempo nonetheless with tough conditions. Definitely gives my hopes for great things to come once the weather stays this warm without the other factors to slow the run down.
