Little Red

Notes

Another fairly tough run today. Gonna need a recovery day tomorrow because that's 3 days in a row. Headed out to Little Red by myself today because Brady and Spain were both a bit tired from very hard weeks this past week. Ended up seeing Mitch out there with Gittleman finishing up right before I started. Had a good conversation with Mitch while I was stretching and loosening up. Headed out the first few miles at a respectably comfortable split. Nothing too fast but nothing terribly slow. First half of this run was definitely extra sloppy. Muddiest I've ever run out at Little Red at least. Remembered the course fairly easily and no major problems. Stopped to hit a bathroom about 30 minutes in and got to the big hill at 36:25 today. Tried to start picking it up a bit from the hill on out. Legs were definitely a bit tired and continued to be a bit muddy or soft even on the last half. Closed off relatively hard for being rather dead and tired legs. Tried to keep the form smooth and just not look at the watch. Not a terrible time for not crushing the first half and feeling pretty tired and not fast on the 2nd half. Decent first run at little red but think I'll be able to be under 60 this year if I catch a decent day when I'm fresh.
