Well I got my ass handed to me today and there wasn't really anything I could do about it. I thought going in by 3 miles I would pull away for an easy win but Taco had other plans today. Some augie noob took out the first quarter probably in 63 or so. Ran with Akita and Taco through about the mile before Taco took off. Kept waiting for him to tie up so I could pick him off but he just kept pulling away more. Not too bad of a race for being a bit breezy and being off on my own the majority of the race. Mile splits were 4:56, 4:55, 5:11, 5:08, 4:48. Ended up taking 2nd which is fine and hip didn't really bug me when I was out there at least but not what I had planned for today.
