Notes

Got in a lot of stretches and drills for the foot before getting ready to run this workout. Ended up getting delayed by stopping to talk to Al and doing some typing for him for a bit. Warm-up felt awkward and sluggish but still can't afford to do much more distance than that. Got over to the park, switched shoes, did some drills and got going. Plan was 3x1mile repeats wasn't sure on rest. First one was definitely an adjustment to pace but went better than planned. Came through with a solid time. Legs didn't feel miserable but 1:30 wasn't enough time to finish this workout properly so called it 2 minutes and went again. Felt good for the first couple hundred meters on the second one before realizing how fatigued I was, came through the half a second or so slower than the first but closed it off strong despite almost throwing up. Ended up only walking around most of the rest after this one instead of jogging. Jogged a few seconds and decided to man up and jump back on the line instead of adding more rest. The third mile got tough before the 400 already and just dealt with it waiting to be able to pick it up the last 800. Came through at 2:26 and started to work harder, hoping I'd be close to putting out even splits. I somehow negative split big time despite feeling like puking again. Times felt good to have been run afterward but very painful at the time. Took a nice easy cool-down, got in my strides barefoot, which felt good, then did plyos and a long stretch before calling it a day.
