Well for my sake I hope this isn't a true measure of where I'm at. I guess I wasn't sure what to expect but I really hope I'm in better shape than this. Legs just never had it today and couldn't tell if that's just me adjusting to an indoor track, me still feeling flat like I have for the past few days, or just me not having it. Either way, went to WWS this morning at 5:30 to get in what was supposed to be last night's workout. Finally started the workout only to realize that the pace I expected to be easy was nowhere near that and dodging the same chick a couple times every lap by going to the outside of my lane would get very old. Needless to say, the workout was extremely tough, which is a good thing to get used to if I want to run fast this year, but I just could not find any other gears going around these turns. I never felt bouncy and that was disappointing. I also thought it would be a piece of cake to run 4 miles, even indoors, in 20:00 even with the variation but I was soon proved wrong there as well. Overall, not nearly what I had in mind, but on a brighter note, I definitely leave plenty of room for growth. Hopefully Friday's mile goes better. Workout was supposed to be 2x90 sec, 4x60 sec, 4x30 sec, 4x15 sec with each effort having equal effort rest.
