Legs didn't feel as strong as normal or nearly as bouncy as I would've liked. Splits went very well through half and fell off a bit on the way back. Thought I would've made up ground on each split on the way back and that really didn't happen but gave what I could today without straining enough to tweak anything. Felt my hammy tensing up a bit the last couple miles so tried to get what I could out of the legs without overdoing it. Splits were fairly even at 5:07,5:09,5:09,5:08,5:12,5:12,5:08,5:04. Was supposed to be a simulation of the half-marathon in San Francisco in a couple weeks. Pace was right around what I expected and hoping I'll drop a few more seconds per mile with some competition and slightly more rested legs. Not disappointed with how the run turned out. Need to close harder, even with the uphill finish.
