TEMPERATURE: Upper 50's
COMMENTS: 1st Open Water Swim and 1st Triathlon. Felt like I was going to drown in the first 200 yards and then was able to settle in to an acceptable crawl stroke by about 300 yards. Felt worn out coming out of the water but was glad to have finished the first leg and survived the swim without needing to be rescued.
