Rolling hills on pavement for the first 3 miles. Steep hills on packed sand roads for the last 2. Came through the 8K in 28:56. Thought I would feel horrible for this because of yesterdays races, the fact that I got 3 hours of sleep yesterday and 4 hours last night, and that I'd been surviving on McChickens and Hamms (dinner last night was a 1000 calorie chocolate bar because I went fishing with Muneeb and Kevin instead of eating a real dinner), but I ran even better than yesterday. Really happy with this leg.
