after 2nd mile, kicked into Comrades mode - took a minute walk break at every mile. Really helped with leg fatigue, but disappointed to find that still experienced a lot of heart rate drift towards the end of run, due to heat - started out around 75, by the time I was done had to have been 80 (still not heat acclimated yet). Could have gone much longer, but with the hr drift, I was no longer aerobic, so no real purpose in going longer.
Walk breaks weren't as bad as I feared - the minute goes by FAST.
