first time swimming since Ironman Wisconsin. Man that was hard! Took a break after each lap, except for the very last 2, when I swam them continuously. The problem wasn't so much with my breathing, but I think more on the muscular front. I would swim the first length fine - felt nice and smooth, gliding (made it to the end in about 25 seconds). But on the return length, about 1/2 way done, I would feel like my form would just give out, and I was swimming these portions in 35+ seconds. Got a little better with each additional lap.
