Hurt again. I was going to do 16 miles at 8:30 pace today but I could only run 5 and I had to walk 5 miles (from Brewster back to Danbury)... Very long 5 miles I must add. I felt great in the first 5 miles. I was finally pain free. Then, very suddenly I felt pain in my left calf. Pain was so intense that in a matter of 20 seconds I had to come to a complete stop. Tried to stretch it but did not work. Very frustrating and not a good start to my marathon training.
