Cool temps and sunny skies greeted runners in Saint Albans this AM...Goal was to go out and see how fast I could run a 5K since it's been a year almost from the last one...Downhill start got me going a little over my head...Caught and ran with Dru Bora and we tracked down Shane just past the mile mark...We all kind of cruised together trying to run down Adam Burt, which we did just past the halfway...Dru did what I couldn't, he finished the last mile strong...I fell off his pace around 2.5 mark...Still satisfied with the run...Hill into Benedict Circle took my breath away...Need to start a little more conservative for a better finish...The TTC won the challenge in a romp to finish a nice day...
