they call it a 5 miler but admit on their flyer that it is 5.3 over and back on the vincent thomas bridge that goes over the port, so a couple of long hills. i finished 60th, 14th in my age group (30-40), felt pretty good right around my goal of 7 min pace, wanted to catch dylan & matt, dylan was only 10 seconds ahead of me until about 3.5 miles then he opened it up and finished 51st, matt (finished 33rd i think) i lost before half way, felt the affect of the 20 miler on sat when i tried to kick it up the last quarter mile or so, i couldnt maintain the kick as long as usual, still ran 608 pace the last .33 but wanted to do slightly better than that. all in all a good day
