brrr....chilly one outside. Speedwork...especially sustained speedwork, is never my favorite. It was cold and rainy outside too, just not ideal conditions. I always end up going slower than I expect when I do this tempo business (fartleks are my friend though) because I have to just go super slow during the cool down, and I make myself go slow during the warm up so I have somewhere to go when I stretch my legs in the middle. I'm sure, in time, I'll like it better, or at least learn to like it, but for now, it will be a chore...a once a week-ish chore. At least it's done now.
