Notes
It was REALLY hot here especially compared to LA now. There was no shade and it was a little humid. The route was flat, straight ahead and without any scenery of interest. I ran through a strip mall parking lot at the halfway point. So it was boring. However, because there were no stoplights, it helped my endurance and made me feel more prepared for the half marathon in the sense that I'm not going to need to stop in the middle of a mile because I'm sooo tired (especially in the heat without shade or anything motivating me).
