for one length today i decided to race the guy next to me (i do this a lot, but usually it's when i'm doing breast stroke because crawl is hard enough as it is) doing crawl. it felt awesome. i felt like i was actually swimming - almost like running - everything was working the way it was supposed to and at a speed that it felt like i was really moving and my arms and legs were working together to move me through the water. it's hard to describe, but it was awesome.
