I went to morning practice again this week, hoping to see Katie, but unfortunately she wasn't there this morning so instead we had someone who typically guards but is supposedly taking Zach's place as a coach next year. The only problem was that, while he was very nice and friendly, he seemed to know very little about swimming. Nevertheless he did a good enough job leading practice which I can only assume was written by Katie, in which we did a warm up of 500 free, 300 pull, 100 IM drill, then a 1000 free, 100 breast easy, 50 fly easy, 500 back, 200 kick easy, 200 pull, and a 100 cool down. It wasn't an especially challenging or perhaps even useful practice, and it certainly wasn't very long, but it was fine and I got an alright workout out of it. And I noticed that I definitely felt better than last week, already stronger and doing a little better in the water. Obviously not 100% back though.
