Notes

I ran my first track workout in several months today, and it went really well. The workout was to do 6x1000m starting at 3:12 (about 5:08 pace) and descending to 3:05 (about 4:56 pace) with a 2 min recovery jog between each. I ended up hitting 3:12, 3:11, 3:11, 3:09, 3:09, and 3:04. It was fairly windy today which did me no favors, and though it wasn't easy I was really happy to see that I could hit all of those times at this point in my training. I was getting pretty tired by the end and descending like that wasn't easy, but I was able to really push and hit all of the times.
