Stage 3 for the 2017 TdC - again dramatically better than last week in every way. I felt really smooth and strong throughout the race, and I moved up by 11 places over last week's performance while running almost 30 seconds per mile faster than I did in the first week. The course was also stunning, staying mainly on paved roads with only very gradual climbs that made for some smooth and fast running. Really pleased to see myself improving so quickly and getting back into shape. Obviously still have a good deal of work to do, but the rapid improvement over only two weeks ago has been exciting.
