Went back to this bread-and-butter workout from Mr Houser for the first time in a while. It was tough for sure, but I felt strong and smooth throughout the workout, never really straining to "sprint" to stay on pace even at the end. The paces were about what I've aimed to hit in this workout previously -- 3:20/k, coming in a bit faster in the second half. Great to see that for this first effort I'm already at that "standard" reasonably comfortably -- now to start cranking it down over the coming months.
