Did my first fartlek of the spring this morning, and it went pretty well. I wanted to get the legs moving a bit faster than they have so far, so I did the old favorite of 10 min @ 10k, 5 min @ 5k, 3 min @ 3k, 2 min @ mile. The paces weren't stellar, but they weren't bad and the workout overall felt pretty good. For each piece, I averaged about 6:00, 5:33, 5:25, and 5:09 (with a downhill), respectively.
