Did another average run today, just trying to get back into the swing of things after the stretch of days off. It was also my first run from the new flat, which opened up a whole new set of options. I did a beautiful loop out past Troinex at the foot of the Salève, over some rolling hills and out in the fields, which I really enjoyed. The run definitely felt better than yesterday - and there was no stomach pain this time which was good - but I was still dismayed to find that by about the 6-mile marker my legs were feeling surprisingly tired. Aerobically I still felt very comfortable, just the legs themselves were struggling a bit. Nevertheless, I was able to finish strong and smooth, so hopefully another day or two will shake everything back out.
