Tough fartlek today, on the loop going to the end of Hardscrabble, then through Pleasantville and back home via Washington Ave and the train station. After a 2-mile warm up, I did 12 min @ tempo, 2 min off, 6 min @ 8k, 1:30 off, 3 min @ 5k, 1 min off, 1:30 @ mile, and finally 10:42 cool down. I worked the hard pieces pretty well, and was pleased to see that the tempo piece was just around 5:30 pace.
