Had a great long run today to close out a really strong week. I headed out into Briarcliff to check out some roads I'd never been on before, and they ere super pretty even on a grey/wet day. I stayed smooth and relaxed for the whole run, never pressing the pace, and as a result felt really good even in the last miles. Was also pleasantly surprised that my legs felt as good as they did after yesterday's effort (guess lots of food, a long nap, and a full night's sleep is good for recovery). This also sets a new longest-run-since-late-2018 mark, which is also great to keep pushing while feeling this good.
