I jump started my return to training by being convinced to go to the morning Ace practice today to see Katie and everyone despite my not having been in the pool since the beginning of March. It was a fairly short practice of only 3200 yards (warm up of 400 free/400 choice, then 8x25 kick IMO, 8x50 pull, 20x50 alt free/choice, 6x100 alt free/odd, and a 200 cool down) but by the end of the 100s my arms were shutting down. It was one of those frustrating days when you aerobically aren't all that worn out, but your muscles just can't keep going anymore. Nevertheless it was a good workout and a good way to get back into doing something.

Also, I was surprised to find that when waking up at 4:45 this morning I felt surprisingly good, feeling wide awake within just a few minutes of getting out of bed which isn't something I'm used to.
