I did my first track workout of the summer today, and it went really well. I did 8x1000m @ T-Pace with the first 4 at a VDOT of 63 (5:41 per mile, 3:32 per 1000), and then did the second 4 at a VDOT of 64 (5:36 per mile, 3:29 per 1000), while taking 45 seconds between each repeat. I felt great throughout (which is why I decided to make the second 4 a little faster), though I got a pretty awful open blister on one of my toes during the 5th which made the last two a lot harder. I followed the workout with 2 laps around the track of strides which also felt good. All in all a great first workout.
