Had a great run this morning in the park. It snowed yesterday and overnight, and it left the park looking beautiful this morning with a solid cover on the ground and snow still in the trees - with clear blue skies above. Such a nice setting to keep easing back into running. On that front, the knee felt fine, and the run itself felt remarkably good - even while holding a solid pace and keeping the HR down. Really exciting to see the impact that my last few weeks of solid crosstraining have had in maintaining/ improving my fitness.
Was going to do a lower-body circuit when I got home, but Nick was still asleep (and it was too snowy to do it outside). So I settled for core instead - still a pretty good workout overall.
