We had an early practice this morning and we did a workout of which I, once again, did just a short part. The workout was to do 3x (5 min @ 10K, 3 min rest, 3 min @ 5K, 1 min rest, 1 min @ 3K, 1 min rest), and I just did the first set. I did it with a solid group of LaBerge, Siegel, Tommy, Aldis, etc and I was able to keep the paces very comfortably and smoothly (granted, while doing only the first set) which was once again a great sign for where my aerobic level is and where the new cadence work might take me. I then finished out the Blair at average pace, and would have biked except I then realized that I was an hour late to life guard! But I did go skiing for 3 hours in the afternoon so I still got in some more leg work.
