4x 400m @ 5k race pace, 400m easy recovery

Light tune-up workout this morning ahead of this weekend's race. Felt pretty good, though with a little less looseness and strength in the legs than I would have wanted. Not sure if maybe this was, at least in small part, from having to run in pants (and for the first time this season)? Hit the paces and if anything was a little too fast on the quarters, but the second half of the last rep my legs were laboring a little too much, and I didn't seem to have an easy last gear to grab. But will take the next two days very nice and easy -- and no more long pants this week!
