Notes

I ran my first hard workout in ages this afternoon, and it went pretty well. I did my go-to fartlek of 10 min @ 10k, 6 min @ 8k, 4 min @ 5k, 2 min @ 3k, and 1 min "lift", with 2:00/1:30/1:00/0:30 recovery respectively. Being the first one, this was a tougher workout than usual for me, but the paces were fairly strong - I averaged about 5:45, 5:33, 5:24, 5:21, 4:59 for each piece, respectively. Certainly room for improvement here, but a strong first workout. Need to keep it up!
