Ran a workout this morning of 8x600m at 3K pace (ran about 1:46-1:48 for 600m which is 71/400m and 8:55 for 3K) with 1:15 recovery between each. The first half or so felt pretty good, but the last few were a real struggle. Obviously I didn't take the past two days as easy as I could have to really promote recovery, and it was uncomfortably warm out today (at least for running) and a bit windy, but I pushed through and managed to finish hard while maintaining the pace.
