Notes
Decided to try something new, and I bought a pair of Hoka Cliftons. While I've really enjoyed the feel and responsiveness of the lightweight Saucony's for a long time now, I also keep getting hurt... Thought it might be worth a try to get a softer shoe for easy/average runs, and stick to the Kinvara just for faster stuff once I'm back into it.
Tried the Hokas out today for the first time, and boy it's a different feel. So much thicker, further off the ground, and cushy! I think I liked it. The feel of the slight curve through the sole to rock me from heel to toe was also interesting. I'm hoping this very different experience is just what I need as one part of the new no-injury era.
