Notes
Came down with COVID this week; probably caught it while in the city last week. Fortunately fairly mild, only really uncomfortable for about one day (and night), and symptoms were much like a severe head cold with little to no respiratory effects. In any case, took it easy and didn't run again until today. Seemed to go pretty well - didn't help this was my first hot run of the summer, but felt decent and don't seem to have any lingering effects from the virus. Very grateful for that. But, even so -- very disappointed to have missed the Chap 5k this morning - despite feeling fine, I was still testing positive yesterday so didn't make the trip down to Chap for the weekend. Another race missed, but will be ready for the next one.
