I headed to the track this morning planning to do Aussie Quarters, but unfortunately there was a meet going on, so I headed out on the roads. Instead, I did a solid oslerian workout. It's warm again this weekend, and that made this a bit tougher that I would have liked, but I ran pretty fast and felt generally strong throughout. I did 5x4min [2 min @ 10k, 1 min @ 5k, 30 sec @ 3k, 30 sec @ mile) + 1x3min, with 2 min recovery between each. During the tempo portions I easily held 5:30-5:40 pace, and I brought the faster portions down to under 5:00 pace. Good to see this speed already - need to keep working on getting the legs moving like that. Also need to start getting used to this heat...
