Notes

I took my weekly day off from running today and did a pretty tough workout in the pool. I did my usual warm up of 300 swim, 200 pull, 100 kick, and then did 2x300 alt 100 back/100 free, 3x200 IM, 4x150 pull, 5x100 kick, and 8x50 alt IM pace/free hard, finishing up with a 200 cool down. I was a little sore when I started after having lifted yesterday for the first time in a while, but once I got going I actually felt pretty good, and I made sure that I worked all of the sets pretty hard. I was surprised to see that all of my intervals were a good deal faster than they have been in weeks past which was great to see. I followed the swim with a 16 min core workout which also felt good.
