Average day and average intensity. 6.5 miles running, then drill and strides when I got back. Also did a short strength set inside. Interestingly, I felt much smoother today and was moving markedly faster than I have been - not sure if this is a turning point, fresh foam in the new shoes (!), or something else - but interesting.
Randomly, I've also ben eating roasted red beets this week for the first time in a long while. I've noticed the color a bit (which usually only happens after tougher workouts), and this is also a much better feeling run. Connection? Something to pay attention to.
