Salève

Notes

I ran a "double Salève" this morning, in the longest and hardest training run I've done to date (and longest run by *time* that I've ever done so far!). I ran out to the Salève, headed up the Grand Gorge, down the Pas de Cheval, and then met up with Anders at the bottom of the téléphérique. From there we did another loop of the same together, and then I split off to head home while he carried on for a second lap of his own.

It was a real tough run, especially as it warmed up on the second lap, but my legs held up great. I drank a lot of water, and snacked throughout, and everything seemed to go well. Not bad for 6,000ft of climbing over almost four hours! And a great last big workout before the Eiger in two weeks.
