Notes
Day 1 on serious training.
The plan:
8 easy followed by 8 @ 7:00 min / mile pace.
The reality:
8 easy followed by 5 @ 7:00 min/mile pace, followed by 3 at about 8:13 min / mile pace.
Stomach was upset during this one... I made a pit stop into the store to get some Gatorade and I think I may have taken on too many carbs too quickly. Oh well, got the run in on what was a hot day - particularly on stretches of the trail where there was no hiding from the sun.
