Nice easy 6 miler to ease myself back into running after a two-week break. Was really hoping that my hip flexor and foot would show some improvement.... sadly neither is the case. That said, I think I felt much better mentally. I think the grind of the past 2 years of solid training left me in need of an extended break. I could probably used even more time off. That said, I may choose to incrementally increase my volume to make a good mix of keeping in touch with training while still getting some rest.
