sunny, cool, with a slight breeze...ran up camp drive to trail expecting to run the creek-crossing, but decided to explore when I reached the side trail just before hitting the scenic road above the bridge...the trail was packed to begin with then crossed bridge over creek and up hill to unpaved trail...took this trail for about a mile and hit some farm land...ran in circles for a bit looking for a connection to trails I was familiar with...to no avail...headed back the way I came and headed for the trails that connect to croom airport road...from there crossed the road to trail...hit the stairs going down and then back on scenic road...nice and easy pace with some good short and steep hills in the mix...felt good...
