sunny with a mild breeze warming things up...ran the camp trail over to merkle...took the side trails out to the fork and made my way back...camp trail was still covered in ice and snow...patches of ice and snow throughout the route...kept a good pace...saw my runner friend with his border collies back at base...felt good...
