brilliant blue sky and comfortable conditions...ran one loop on the 50K course then hit Merkle including large field loop, fenno road, and hq loop...was totally out of it for the first 5 miles...including a 15 minute first mile...at 5 miles found my stride and ran at training pace...Recovery: Sierra Nevada Pale Ale...many turtle sightings today...1526c...felt good...
