Dear Prudence...
I don't usually listen to tunes when I run, but I couldn't get the Beatles' tune out of my head during this morning's run because of how brilliant it was..."the sky is blue it's beautiful and so are you"...
Nothing but blue sky and sunshine certainly made for a picture postcard run...Cool morning with a breeze...
Started sluggishly and took a 4 miles or so to find a groove then started hitting a solid mid-tempo pace...ran the scenic road over to Merkle for the big field loop...hit side trails at every opportunity on the way out...
Wildlife: saw two huge blue heron on the catfish side trail at Merkle...
Also noticed the birds chirping...said hello to a few other runners and numerous birdwatchers out today...Really fun run today...
Recovery: Budweiser Tall Boy...
