Winter Landscape Running...At last some physical activity this week that is NOT shoveling snow! Today's Dahlgren Rail Trail Half-Marathon was postponed to next weekend due to the heavy snow the region received this week...so in its place I decided to get a long run in through the neighborhood...to go ten miles in the 'hood requires several repeat loops...down and back the main drag and hitting the side cul-de-sacs as well as a few loops around the barn...gets a little boring but the winter white landscape at least made this run different from most other treks on Howard Drive...conditions this morning were overcast and cold with some light precipitation that was a few random raindrops...I was actually somewhat bright-eyed and bushy-tailed for a Saturday morning...probably from being off work the last two days...my pace was pretty casual but I did get more than a few sub 10 minute miles in...all-in-all an enjoyable effort...ten miler #5 for the year...1615c...felt good...
