A Taste of Fall...Brilliant Sunshine cool Sunday morning with temps in the low 50s to start...Ran out to Merkle Farm and did 9 loops around the big corn fields before heading back to the start...After a few miles waking up found a comfort zone and stuck with it...Hit a couple of race pace miles late in the run...Quality effort...Wildlife: Saw deer scattered here and there; heard geese in the distance; one other runner out early; looked like a camping group was cleaning up when I arrived; spotted a pumpkin patch near the Merkle road fork among the corn stalks...Recovery: A couple of Second Wind beers...Ten Miler: 29 out of 50 for 2014...2773c...felt good...
